Suspend the Standards Board not Ken Livingstone

This Blog has been created to keep track of the strange decisions around the Standards Board for England and the Adjudication Panel for England.

A considerable amount of work has been done by various people including the Rotten Boroughs column in Private Eye to highlight the perverse manner in which the SBE and APE act to undermine democracy.

Probably the most high profile action was to suspend Ken Livingstone as Mayor of London for being rude.

It is the policy of both the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives to scrap this system which is actually counterproductive.
